  1. Why did you choose to pursue the career of engineering?

SB. I find that the field of engineering allows everyone to innovate and use their talents to improve scientific development.

2. What obstacles did you have to overcome to achieve your dream?

SB. One of the obstacles I had to overcome to achieve my dream was the difficulty of reperforming my research analysis in case the results were not satisfactory, it was a situation where I had to use other methods to achieve the desired result. It was a question of motivation because I had to redo a task that took a long time.

3. What is the next step in your career after your PhD?

SB. After the Ph.D., I continued my career in research by starting a postdoc, which gives me the opportunity to apply the skills I consolidated during my PhD, and my previous projects with more perspectives and related topics that interest me by collaborating with other researchers in my domaine.

4. What is the message you would like to give to young girls for following a PhD in science and engineering?

SB. You have all the qualities you need to be brilliant PhD students. Don’t let the difficulties get you down, but rather try to rise to the challenge to develop new abilities and produce the best version of yourself.
